This was a campaign we did whilst on placement at MARS, which ended up running in Mexico.

Problem

42% of Mexican people are unaware they have an allergy.

 

Insight

They are wrongly treating allergies as a cold or flu, because they aren't aware they have an allergy.
 

Solution

Raise awareness and educate Mexican people on the difference between an allergy, and a cold or flu, by teaching them to recognise the symptoms for what they are. We used emojis as a universal language mechanism to simply break down the symptoms in an easily understood format.
